XBIZ Miami brought the industry back to the Goodtime Hotel on South Beach this year, four days of panels, socials and deal-making with operators flying in from more than twenty countries. Teasy Agency came in as a sponsor, and it turned out to be one of the better decisions we made this year.
Why we put our name on it
Most of our work happens over Telegram, email and shared dashboards. That is fine for running day to day operations, but it does not build the kind of relationships that make a hard conversation easy six months later. XBIZ Miami is where the creators, platforms, processors and traffic partners we rely on are all standing in the same room. Sponsoring meant our name was in front of that room for four days instead of us just being another badge in the crowd.
The booth
We kept our cabana simple and staffed it the whole event. No pitch deck, no gimmick, just our team available to talk shop. We also brought a run of oversized Teasy tote bags and gave them away free to anyone who stopped by, which turned out to be the smartest thing we packed. Everyone at a conference like this is carrying swag, badges and a laptop, so the bags went fast, and by day two there were Teasy logos moving through every room in the building. Cheap distribution, and it gave people a reason to start a conversation with us instead of the other way around.
Our guests
We brought a handful of our creators out for the week. Getting them in front of platform reps and other creators does more for their business than any amount of coaching from us.
Next year
We will be back, and we will be sponsoring again. If you were there and we did not get a chance to connect, or if you are a creator or a partner who wants to talk about working with us, reach out. We represent around sixty creators and we are always open to the right conversations.
